“Passion is an intense emotion compelling feeling, enthusiasm, or desire for something.” I have a passion for photography and it grows more intense with every photograph I take. I love all facets of photography – the preparation, the people, places, the shoot and yes, even the postproduction. I don’t specialize; I like all genres, however I tend to approach my photography from a Fine Arts perspective, like improvisational jazz. I set the framework for a collaborative session, all the time engaging and improvising. With that Fine Arts sensibility I’ll oftentimes see images in black and white while shooting in color. Black and White gives images timelessness and a fine arts feel.
I have a beautiful studio that’s conducive to both relaxation and creativity, to create a stimulating atmosphere. My studio has both a gallery and boutique feel to it, with brick and antique white walls, hardwood floors and stylish furniture. Music flows from a pro audio system with mounted and in-ceiling speakers. You pick the music from hip-hop to jazz or just plug in your mp3 player. This is not your typical sterile, utilitarian studio!
Oh Yeah! And I have a sense of fashion too. I have a few selected fashion items to style you if you didn’t come prepared. I love collaborating with designers to showcase their work. But, I also will buy clothes from thrifty or second-hand stores as well as marked down items at Nordstrom Rack that catches my creative eye.
Let’s collaborate, improvise and make art! I’m interested in collaborating with creative people (e.g. models, make-up artists, designers, stylists, body painters). look (e.g. vintage clothing). I love shooting fashion and all things stylish.
